Youngsters stepped back in time to the American 1920s as they brought the characters of Fat Sam, Dandy Dan, Blousey Brown and Tallulah to life of stage.
A 35-member cast from Southampton's Bellemoor School and neighbouring Shirley Juniors' performed Bugsy Malone during eveing shows.
Splurge guns were out in force creating lots of mess on stage in the fast paced show with plenty of twists and turns.
Bellemoor's head of drama Charlotte Cox had been organising rehearsals for the last ten weeks.
She said: "Taking part in this pro-duction shows youngsters the commitment that is needed to put on a production, learn lines and attend rehearsals."
